Just completed 3 days work for Save the Children in Swaziland and Pretoria. Exhausted but loved it.
Swaziland in particular was gorgeous country and warmest people. It’s tough though, in crisis mode. HIV infection rate highest on the planet at an almost unbelievable 39% in adult population (compared to under 4% in 1990). When you see the numbers and meet the people, it’s impossible to reconcile. Needless to say children are already being left parentless and sadly, it’ll only get worse before it gets better.
We gotta get out of this place...
